Do More With Words.

Samantha Beaver writes about how people use words to create the world around them.

“I’m a linguist, writer, and Christian who is endlessly curious about the divine gift of language and the role it plays in human relationships and spiritual formation”

I’m a linguist and writer who believes language is one of the most powerful tools we have for creating connection and meaning. My work attempts to bridge academic research and lived experience, helping people understand not just how to communicate, but how language is the generative force that is actively creating our experience of everyday relationships.

I write for intellectually curious readers who are drawn to the practical wisdom from ancient traditions, and invite them, religious or not, to rediscover the generative power of words through the combined lenses of linguistics, behavioral science, and biblical wisdom.
